Walk & Dine

The 16th Annual Walk & Dine in the Gateway District is scheduled for Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from 5:30 to 11:00 pm.  Experience the essence of downtown in the Gateway District as you tour fantastic sites, enjoy delicious food from neighborhood restaurants and relax in the company of friends, family and co-workers.  Musical entertainment will add to the festivities at several tour sites.

The evening will begin in the lobby of the world-famous House of Blues.  Tour sites will include The Avenue, The Lofts at Rosetta Center, a new penthouse at 629 Euclid Avenue, Seasons at Perk Park, WT Grant Lofts and a dessert reception in the Rotunda at the M (previously the Cleveland Trust Rotunda).  Participating restaurants currently include Black Dog Kitchen & Bar, Brickstone Cleveland, The Corner Alley, The Flaming Ice Cube, House of Blues, La Strada, Sushi 86, Tilted Kilt, The Winking Lizard, The Tudor Arms Hotel, A Doubletree by Hilton and Zocalo Mexican Grill & Tequileria.  Discounted parking will be available.

Hundreds of attendees enjoy Walk & Dine each year, and proceeds benefit the Historic Gateway Neighborhood Corporation.

Take a Hike Tours

The Take a Hike tours have been featured in “25 great free things to do in Cleveland” by Laura DeMarco in  The Plain Dealer.  Check out the article here.

Take a Hike, presented by Dollar Bank, offers five, free, guided, walking tours each week from now through September 15th.  You can tour the Gateway District, Warehouse District, Civic Center, PlayhouseSquare or Canal Basin Park in the Flats.  Each tour offers insight into the history, architecture, culture and future plans of the tour areas, and each tour features actors and actresses portraying important Clevelanders from the past.
