Take a Hike

The Take a Hike tours continue to amaze as the 5th season of free, guided, walking tours attracts locals and tourists alike to Downtown Cleveland.

To read one Discover Ohio blogger’s comments on the tours, visit Whitney Clayton’s post here.

Now through September 15th, you still have time to explore the Gateway District, Warehouse District, Canal Basin Park in the Flats, the PlayhouseSquare neighborhood or the Civic Center on an entertaining and educational walking tour that lasts approximately one and a half hours in length.  History comes to life on the streets of Cleveland, as a talented cast of actors and actresses portray important Clevelanders from the past during the tours.  Imagine meeting John D. Rockefeller out for a stroll near the Rockefeller Building or Coach Paul Brown sharing football memories play by play!

There will be a tour of the Warehouse District on Saturday, August 31st and a tour of Canal Basin Park on Sunday, September 1st of Labor Day Weekend.

Presented by Dollar Bank, Take a Hike  is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.
