Hospitality Star Award

Has someone in the Gateway District made your Cleveland experience incredible?  Nominate a staff member of one of the Gateway District’s hotels, restaurants, attractions, or one of the Take a Hike tour guides, volunteers or cast members for the Hospitality Star Award.

Positively Cleveland recently launched the Hospitality Star Award program to recognize individuals that go above and beyond standard customer service to offer true hospitality to Cleveland visitors. The winner will be recognized at their annual meeting on March 19 and awarded a Cleveland-themed award that will treat them to the best our city has to offer.

Please help by nominating employees, colleagues and partners that have exceeded the expectations of Cleveland visitors to offer experiences that WOW. Potential nominees can include staff at hotels, restaurants, attractions, transportation authorities, the airport, taxi cab companies – anyone that interacts with a visitor during their stay.

Nominations are due Friday, February 14 and may be submitted through Positively Cleveland’s website.

New Office Space

Historic Gateway Neighborhood Corporation is pleased to announce it will be moving its offices to the third floor of the 1010 Euclid Building (the Swetland Building) in June 2014.  The new office space will also be home to Historic Warehouse District Development Corporation and the Downtown Cleveland Alliance.

The new offices will house 23 full-time, part-time and contract employees between the combined organizations.
“As Downtown and its neighborhoods continue to grow, collaborating on office space with Downtown Cleveland Alliance and its neighborhood-based partners is perfectly timed,” said Tom Yablonsky, executive vice president of DCA and Executive Director of both Historic Gateway Neighborhood Corporation and Historic Warehouse District Development Corporation. “Our organizations will have increased efficiency across several platforms of communication.”
