Take a Hike
The 2017 Take a Hike tour season, presented by Dollar Bank, will kick off on Tuesday, May 16th.
Offering five tours every week from May 16th through September 17th, Take a Hike gives attendees the opportunity to experience Downtown Cleveland in a unique and entertaining way. Enjoy a free, guided walking tour of the Gateway District, Warehouse District, Canal Basin Park in the Flats, Playhouse Square or the Civic Center. History comes to life along the tour routes as talented cast members portray important Clevelanders from the past.
Over 26,000 people have enjoyed “taking a hike” in eight seasons of award-winning tours!
14th Annual Historic Downtown Cleveland Luncheon Forum
Historic Gateway Neighborhood Corporation, Historic Warehouse District Development Corporation, and PlayhouseSquare District Development Corporation bring nationally renowned speakers to Cleveland each year at this popular annual event. Past speakers have included Mike Lydon, Dr. John Crompton, Honorable Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Stacy Mitchell, Christopher B. Leinberger and many others.

Experience the essence of downtown in the Gateway District as you tour fantastic sites, enjoy delicious food from neighborhood restaurants and relax in the company of friends, family and co-workers. Musical entertainment will add to the festivities at several tour sites. This annual event sells out every year.
