Where can I park in the Gateway District?

There are convenient parking lots located throughout the Gateway District as well as metered parking available on many streets. Parking & Transportation will provide you with further information. Please refer to posted signage at individual parking lots and meters for hours and rates.

What hotels are close to the Gateway District?

There are six excellent hotels in the Gateway District, including the Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Hyatt Regency Cleveland at the Arcade, Metropolitan at the 9, Residence Inn by Marriott and Radisson Hotel Cleveland-Gateway. Hotel information can be found here.

Where can I hold a special event in the Gateway District?

There are many fabulous options when holding special events, such as weddings, meetings, conferences, reunions, parties and more, in the Gateway District. Some may choose venues such as an elegant hotel or Gray’s Armory (216.621.5938). Others may be interested in holding an event at a restaurant or sports complex. Can you provide me with Gateway District brochures?

Destination Cleveland is a valuable resource for brochures, maps and other literature used for meetings, weddings, vacation planning and other purposes. The Visitors Center can be reached at 216.875.6680 or CLEConcierge@destinationcle.org.

The Historic Gateway Neighborhood Corporation does have a limited supply of publications and event-specific brochures from time to time. If you are in need of printed Gateway District literature, feel free to contact us at info@historicgateway.org.

Do you offer tours of the Gateway District?

Yes, the Historic Gateway Neighborhood Corporation’s Take a Hike walking tour program offers free, guided walking tours of five Downtown neighborhoods, including the Gateway District, from May through September each year.   An extended Take a Hike tour season is offered October through mid-December.  See the Heritage Tourism section of the website for details.
